Default Cooling pad for NFusion HD

Looks like power to the USB is off when the receiver is turned off with the remote, so the cooling pad turns off.
Yes, what happens to the failure of the switch on the back, if I turn it on and off like few times every day.
Some other guy was telling that he used an external power supply to let the fan run all the time.

Default Regarding cooling pad for NFusion HD

I just had a thought if I connected this cooling pad to a USB AC charger, that may work to leave the fan on all the time?
Wonder if it is safe? and also how much power does it use?

When i said turn it off i didn't mean turning it off every single time via rear switch only at night but even if you turn it off at night once every few days it will help to completely cool it off as the board stays warm even when stb is not in use. Connecting pad directly should work and i don't think it will use that much power but i can't see it lasting very long if it's on 24/7, sooner or later motor on the pad is gonna give up.

Default Cooling Pad for NFusion HD

I bought a USB AC charger and hooked up the cooling pad to it and now it stays on and the unit is not as hot as it used to be as the cooling pad stays on all the time.
