Enclosed is the factory file which is included in the "first file package" released for the Nuvenio.
This file does not need to be loaded, it is here for diagnostic or troubleshooting purposes

Though file loading can easily be done via the USB drive, the serial loader is here if needed.


******Factory file usage- important please read******

Here is a c/p from nfusion on factory file and boot code usage I thought everyone should see.
Warning: It’s not recommended to reload the bootloader file onto the unit or serious damage can be done. Because all nFusion units are (pre-loaded) with Software with the boot file v.1.30.Do not load any factory file onto a unit older than [1] year of manufactured date. You will screw the EPPROM up on the unit, and it will have to be jtagged to fix it. Remember you only need to use a (factory file) after doing a full reload, and after a (factory Default) is done, or when a flash is screwed up and you're trying to (recover) the unit again. But only in those cases. Also never reload the bootloader, nor a factory file when setting up a new unit.

Hey one2, without sounding ignorant here, how do I download this 090908 file onto the receiver box when I get nothing on the tv screen to scroll down to? I've copied the opened file onto the usb insert drive through my j usb port. All I can do is stick it in the usb slot on the receiver. I don't know how to download this without an onscreen prompt to go to s/w version and download. What do I do here? Nashville Guy
