Usb/Serial Cable Drivers (generic)
Here are some Usb/Serial adapter cable drivers that you can try if you don't like your present drivers or you can't find any for your particular cable. They were written by Manhattan (the computer hardware company). They seem to work very well with all sorts of different cables. There are two very nice things about these drivers... the first is, they allow you to use a Usb/Serial adapter cable on your nFusion (instead of having to look for a computer with a serial port). The second is, you can use loader 1.1 or 1.3 and the drivers don't produce any weird behavior... which is, needless to say, very cool.
A couple of quick notes:
All the Windows packages (except for the WinXp64 package) have installers in them. So extract the file out and double click the package to install it. Once you've done that, plug your cable in, change any com port settings for it in the Windows Device Manager (com number & transmission speed to 115,000) and you are good to go. There's also an uninstaller included if you don't like the drivers.
The Xp64bit takes a different approach. To install it, create an new, empty folder, extract out the contents of the file to the folder, plug in your Usb/Serial adapter, and when Windows says it's found new hardware, direct it to the folder you created (and follow any further instructions). That should do it. There is a 'remover' in the package to uninstall the drivers if you don't like them.
I've included the Mac OS X, Mac OS10.1 and the Linux (only for RedHat) drivers too... can't say i know much about them or their installation (or if any of the nFusion loaders work with those Operating Systems) so I leave that up to you...
