Pansat 2700A--original box. Hooked up with 119 and 61.5 sats. Downloaded File, all channels on 119 just fine: BUT on 61.5 channels come up with name and title of program then screen changes to "scrambled or bad channel" on all channels.
(a) Auto Roll "on" (b) Did hard rebooth (back switch)...still the same.
(c) Erased all channels, re-load the FILE and scan again. Problem still there
need help---PLEASE

diehard41 are you sure your on the right bird(61.5) do you see this in your set up when you set your diseqc switch on port 2? What kind of dish are you using? Is this one dish with adjustable arms or 2 dishes one for 119 and the other for 61.5?

yes. This is what I was using with my previous files.....The setup is correct on Port #2. Dish 500...Two separate dishes..one for 119 and one for 61.5 couples with Diseqc switch. Port #1 for 119 , Port#2 is for 61.5....Besides this same settings was fine with the 299 file....Is this a magic? laugh

diehard41 not sure what is the problem, I can see that you have did a hard boot with the switch on the back as well as rescanning channels and so on. Have you did a factory default and the set up birds again and rescan channels? I would even download fix again and unzip it and delete the old one and then do a factory default and set up birds again and then rescan channels and see if that fixes the problem, I will flag this message for one of the boss's to see and if your problem still is there, then they will know what to do. Let us know

San, Thanks again for your speedy response. I did NOT do a Factory Default because I am not familiar with this and I don't want to mess up my receiver BUT I did delete the file from my computer and download Fix again from site after unzip it. I may need some more explanation from you on this default procedure....

There is some reports that the file is not up 100%. We may need a new file to get it fixed up.

try 8282 from main screen and set default keys , exit back to main screen.

I did the "set default keys" as you suggested. The problem remains the same. I can only agree with your statement....file is not 100%....Since you responded to this , I would suggest that you take a look from the beginning of my post to see all that I have done to view channels on 61.5 sat. I do hope with ajoint effort this problem will be resolved...please keep me informed.

I have read it and most of the time if one satellite works and not the other the problem is in the dish settings. But your dish settings seem to be fine. The first thing i would recommend is to do factory default and do a blind scan but it looks like the problem is with the file so the best is to wait it out and see if the coders will provide us with a new better file.

Ps i did notice that you have a dish 500 and only getting 119, you could pickup the 110 too and that will give you about 300 extra channels.

I appreciate your explanation but from my statements above, interest is in South Asian ch on 61.5 sat. I was made to understand that these channels are also NOW at 118W sat. Can you please do some research to inquire whether this can be picked up with Dish 500 and dual legacy LNBF and 118W is echo what eg. 119= echo 7.so that I may find in on Sat listing. If so, then this could compromise my desire.....awaiting your response....

If I understand you right no you can't get 119 and 118 on 1 dish 500.What you need to do setup 110 and 119.Then get a single lnb dish mounted and pointed at 61.5 or at 118.There is a dish that will allow you to get 110,118 and 119.They do make lnb that looks like a single lnb but in fact is 2 lnb's in one to get 118 and 119 and add another single lnb and get 110.Just remove your legacy dual lnb and replace with the lnb's I mentioned.
