Default Pansat 2700 fails to load new bin

HELP!!!
I have two Pansat 2700's. Both have b75 update and using current gtrom loader. Tried installing latest bin on both with same result. I have always loaded by powering on and starting download simultaneously. On both the stb acts like I am not even connected. It simply boots up and the download never starts. I tried two different null modem cables, two different computers same result. Tried to reflash the b75 update get flash failed . tried reloading factory bin same result, stb simply boots up and download never starts. Tried starting download after full boot, nothing. could there have been a problem in the 201 bin that caused this? The 201 bin worked fine til latest hit. I know my null modem cable is good, worked fine for loading both Viewsat platinums. Any direction would be appreciated. Also did factory reset on one same result. No load.

If it's not a clone try to boot reciever from the back and let it go on a channel before you hit download on the loader. Let me know how you make out.

Trie that again too. Same result. After 15 minutes loader still says downloading 0%. Noticed something else. The time says 15 1/2 hours later than it really is. Reset and rebooted several times and time does not change to correct time.

Is your serial port set up right, usually is COM 1 but it could be a different port as well. Here is the link to a program that will tell you which if any of your ports are open. http://ftaprofessionals.tv/showthread.php?t=1515

Default RE: pansat 2700 failing to load

Mystery solved. It was acting like I wasn't connected to serial port. Turns out I was not. This was first time I tried to load with laptop in docking station. Apparently while in dock the laptop serial port is negated and dock port takes over function. Live and learn. Oh well, another day of frustration resolved. Thank you for the input.

You are very welcome, glad it worked out for you. I would avoid using laptop to load files it seems a lot of people have problems when they do that.
