Need help with Pansat 2700A
I have a pansat 2700A connected to a laptop via a USB 232 null modem to serial adapter on com port 1. Can't get the most recent fix to downloand. The GTRom loader says "downloading," but after over an hour there is no percentage showing. Can you tell me what's wrong?

It's possible that you are using the wrong port on your laptop. Use this program to see which port is open and select that port # on the Loader when loading files. Here is the link http://www.ftaprofessionals.tv/usefu...orts-open.html

I already did that. Software said port was correct. Is there any sort of software I need to get the laptop to communicate with the pansat other than the GTRom loader 27.02?

Try original BL Loader i use this loader personally and it works great. This is for original Pansat 2700A boxes only. http://www.ftaprofessionals.tv/pansa...al-loader.html Try loading factory file first and see if that works, if you are able to load factory it's all good then.

PS 2700A is working on N2 channels, more and more channels are moving to N3 and are not viewable at this time, but that goes for all receivers not just Pansat.
