I am just getting started, and I have a few questions. First I have a Pansat 9200 HD, A Gbox, a large bud with a dual C/KU band LNB and an old analog receiver to switch between horizontal and vertical. I also have an old Direct tv KTI multi satelite dish that is not installed. It has a California amplifier triple feed multisatelite LNB with built in multiswitch with 4 outputs.

Do I need a DVB-S2 board and a 8PSK board, and what are they for?

I have not changed my receiver from the stock configuration, and I have been able to locate a lot of satelites, however, I can only find the transponders with the smart scan feature. I can watch the unscrambled stations, but if I turn the receiver off and back on the same stations say no signal or scrambled. I can't figure what's going on there.

Will the KTI dish work for me or do I need a different dish, also what about the pay stations that I find on the BUD?

First off the DTV dish will not work.You may be able to pick up one sat but it will not work for multi sats.The DVB is for what I call pc fta like IKS.The 8PSK board is for watching HD channels.Your best setup for your Pansat and the easiest would be to setup a DN dish with single lnb's.
