Default pansat 9200 e-sata PVR help

Looking at the Pansat 9200 users guide for the PVR, I have a few questions. Does the e-sata hard drive require it's own power supply? Also it says "formats supported: DR-DOS." FAT 16, 32, NTFS not supported. What do you use to format the HD. I haven't used DOS for years and my old machine that has DOS won't hook up to an eSATA HD. Also the utility that is on this site for copying files from the hard drive back to a computer. Do you use the serial port on the 9200 or do you unplug the e-sata cable and hook it to the computer?

FAT 32 is used for fta receivers. If it's not supported by your HDD you might have to buy a new HD.

You have to have a hard drive with an esata out & connect to your receiver. After you make all the connections, you have to power up the hard drive first then power up your receiver or it won't recognize it.
