Default Nfusion HD with powertech DG 280 motor

I am new at this so I bought a fortec star dynamic receiver with a powertech DG 280 motor for the dish--package deal-- It worked fine.

Just bought an Nfusion HD receiver with the 8psk board--hooked it up and followed all the book instructions for setting up a motorized dish and nothing works--no channels after scan--no dish movement---nothing. Should I pitch the motor and go with a stationary dish or can someone tell me what the heck I am doing wrong. Thanks

Default nfusion motors and set-up

hi loml5557 : no do not throw it away. there is a small reset button on the bottom of the motor push it to reset it. in the menu set up of the nfusion under satellite installation selecting the satellite for set up, you want to find and select the DISEQC MODE option and arrow it to where you have DISEQC 1.2 highlighted and then highlight and select ok. this will bring up the motor menu set-up. with the right settings and the correct files we can get you up and working. let us know where at what yo need. here is a post on motors>>> http://www.ftaprofessionals.tv/other...struction.html everyone starts somewhere >>> http://www.ftaprofessionals.tv/usefu...ime-setup.html good luck.
