Yes the z500 has the ability to go private:

With remote go to menu, network and then net application.

change zstream to dream…

go to server, with remote hit ok and type server info, hit exit and then ok.

next go to port, using remote put port info here.

AU is off…

go to authorization, with remote hit ok a new window opens.

Next ID, hit ok with remote, a key pad opens, clear it (dummy) and put username here, hit exit and then ok

next is password , hit ok with remote a key pad opens, clear it and put password here and hit exit and then ok

des key hit ok, enter des key here if needed

some users may need to clear and enter the des key, hit exit and then ok

exit , exit , exit, exit, exit

a reboot may be in order and watch tv.

i.e., yours should look simalar to this:

server no. 1 softcam – newcamd

input type – domainserver – xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com (example only)

port – 30000 (example only)

au – off

hit authorization, a new window opens.

ID , gotmytv (example only)

password, 123h456 (example only)
