Here is the instruction on how to Download/Upload your channel list PC <-> STB (SV-PVR1000).

1. Connect the serial cable between your PC and the receiver.
2. Start the PVRChanMaster (Version 2.07) on your PC.
3. In the PVRChanMaster, click on the "Connect" menu icon.
4. Choose the correct COM port and then click "OK".
5. Click on the "i" menu icon to verify the connection has been established, then click "OK".
6. Click on the "TUNER" drop down menu and choose "Tuner 1".
7. Click on the "Upload to Workspace" menu icon.
* Make sure you are NOT in the menu (otherwise you have to initiate the download manually).
8. TV will display "Data Uploading and on your PC the transfer window will pop up.
9. Wait until the transfer is successfully completed.
* If the transfer fail for whatever reason, the TV will show "Transfer failed" and you will see a pop up window on your PC with the message "Upload Failed...", disconnect the connection and try again.)
10. Once the transfer is completed, it will automatically populate the workspace.
11. Do the necessary modification and then save your work (as a .bin file) on your computer.


To transfer the modified channel list back to the STB, you have two options:

USING Serial port:
1. Click on the "Download Workspace" menu icon on the PVRChanMaster.
* If your previous modification (From above) has not been saved, you will be asked to save it first.
2. The transfer window will pop up automatically.
3. The TV will display "Software Downloading..."
4. Wait until the transfer from PC to STB is completed.
5. When the transfer is successfully complete, another window will pop up with the message "Download Success!"
6. On you TV, you will see the message "DO NOT POWER OFF", "Flash updating..."
7. Do NOT power off the receiver! The STB will reboot automatically, once the transfer is completed.


USING USB port:
1. Connect USB Flash drive to your PC.
2. Transfer the saved chanlist file to your flash drive.
3. Connect the flash drive to your STB.
4. On your STB go to Menu > Installation > USB Mass Storage
5. Choose the channel list (bin file) and click OK.
6. Wait until upload is completed.
7. You will be asked to power on/off the STB using the back switch.
