Sonicview 8000 Updated longname channel template 82 91 110 119 129 ihub friendly
Sonicview 8000 Updated longname channel template 82 91 110 119 129 ihub friendly.
This is an updated longname channel template, list, fix sats and rest sat bundle for the Sonic View 8000. I grabbed all the info from Lyngsat and updated everything as needed (mainly updating Bev). I didnt bother updating internationals of descriptive video. It was for me and a friend, but instead of emailing him this i just posted it here and gave him the link.
It will work on other satellites if you use channel master with your list and import my template.
Im in Southern Ontario and managed to scan about 1750 on the 5 sats.
They are set up :
129, 119, 110, 91, on diseq 1 - 4, and 82 with 22khz on.
If you have an IHub there is a FAV named iHUB with all the working ihub channels as of 06/30/09. If you don't, you probably don't have TV
If you know what youre doing, use what i provided as you like. If you only want to update the long channel names just apply the template (put on usb and apply like a bin). If you want my channel scan or updated TP's do a factory reset and then load the bin for the FAV lists and channels, or delete the channels and scan, and then apply my template in channel master.
If you have bad EPG data, misnamed channels, loss of channels, etc this may help. Its also for best results.
(for noobs)
1: Backup anything on FTA, Do a factory reset, and load file # 1 and 2 (it will flush your systems old channel templates and "clean it out", but is optional)
2: Load the Factory bin (HD8000_factoryP_25MAR2009_v44 3_b207.bin) (Optional)
3: load the newest ihub Bin and set up settings
4: Load my channel list bin (file #3 ) and either WATCH TV or continue for better more personalized results...
(more advanced)
5: Delete the channels i scanned by doing a factory reset. You just want the updated transponders in my bin.
6: Set up settings, scan sats and save your new list on usb (red button in USB area)
7: IMPORT your new list in Channel Master (search CMSetup1_20_03.exe) and apply my template (file #4) by going Tools, Apply Template. Make any changes you want. EXPORT the bin when finished.
8: Do a factory reset on the FTA and then apply your new channel bin. Configure your AV settings and such, and you should have a personalized, long name channel list that you can scan in the future, and the names will be as they are supposed to if they move, as you are not using the template (.csv) file on the FTA, it was done on the PC.
Hope this helps someone, and allways backup your own list first incase you think mines terrible. This works good with EPG info on all channels for me, and all i really miss is the good HD.
