Do not know if this has anything to do with fixing the freezing problem, but it work for me. I turned off auto roll and tp for a day then turned them back on. About 4hrs. later freezing stopped. Hope it will help someone else. papaal

Smile freezing problem

Turned on TV this morning to put new fix in. Has been working for 2 hrs without fix. Does anyone know why? Not complaining, just curious. When I turned box on, could see booting in background. Should I put new fix in, or just leave it and see what happens? No freezing at all.

The provider has changed something in the stream or took something out that in turn stop your freezing.Yes I would put new fix in.You may not see the changes in the fix but the coders would not have made if it didn't help something.

Your welcome Jelalito, sometimes there maybe times that our response may be slow because we are busy, but it is our goal to help any way we can and as fast as we can.

It happened in the past that old file will " fix " it self and the problems stop without doing anything. Chances are that the old fix one you are using and the new fix will go down at the same time. So it's up to you if you want to load the new fix or stick with the old one. My motto is why fix it if it isn't broken. If the old fix stops working you can always load new fix, if it's still working that is.

The new fix doesn't freeze, but goes blank and i have to shut it off in the back and back on to have a picture. It will also lose the picture but not the sound. what could be the problem? I just reloaded the old fix. Thanks for any help.

Latest fix does have some glitches in it. I don't think it has to do anything with your receiver it's just a glitch in the file. I guess you will have to wait for a more stable fix for Sonicview.
