Question Sonicview HD8000 Question

Why can't I view another channel while recording another? It will let me select from a group of channels that are close to one I am recording, but will not let me out of that group of about 7 to 8 channels. I have installed the new 12-03-08 fix.
Thanks again for all your help!
Doug

You can only do that with a dual Tuner receivers, with a SV 8000 you will be able to only watch the channels that are on the same frequency as the channel that you are recording.

Question Two Tuners

My owners manual says; "-Two Tuners : ATSC Tuner(Sharp,NIM Type)& QPSK(Samsung, NIM Type)" under the Features page. And under the Specifications it says 2 Tuners ATSC & QPSK. Frequency range 950 - 2150 MHz. I do have the 8PSK A-1 card installed.
Thanks again,
Doug

Those tuners are for HD decryption not dual receivers per say.
