valiantone,,There could be a problem with the fix but I'm not sure....Have you ever did a factory reset? ,maybe thats what you need to reset fatory and load in new factory then load in newest Fix and reset your settings and rescan ur birds!!! Any way it's a good thing to do once in awhile, even that it is kinda of a pain to do ,but it does help ur box out!!

There is some problems with the sv files, coders are working on it.

For now you can just reboot the receiver if it goes black.

This may help:

1. Shut off the unit from the rear power switch
2. Disconnect coaxial cable from satellite receiver (IF in port on rear of receiver)
3. Turn on unit from rear of receiver.
4. You should be able to have unit stay on.
5. Load new bin
6. Shut off unit from rear switch
7. Reconnect Coaxial cable from Satellite (IF in port on rear of rcvr)
8. Turn receiver back on from rear switch

It should now boot and you should be OK

If you do a factory reset it is the best to load the factory file as you have already lost all the channels and settings. A factory file will clean all the old files and the new file will work better. A factory reset will keep the files as they are but it will reset the receiver.

Hope this helps and you are welcome.

Yes I would, It does not hurt to do once in awhile when stuff is just not acting rite,, any way If you have never did a Factory rest you should know all ur settings so you can reset them back the way they were to begin with such as port settings, sats ,tp settings, and local chnls if you get them ,,any if you have any problems we can help you out with all this, good luck and let us know if you get it all straightend out!

Appreciate all the help. Had no problems with reset and loading factory file.Everything still exactly the same though with the freezing as before. Hopefully a new fix will be put up soon so I can see if that is the problem.
