I'm considering upgrading to the new 360 but not sure which of the 2 are better the Elite or the Premiere?

Elite is the newest one.

The 2 biggest differences between the 2 are that 360 Premier scans TP's first then channel scan which takes longer.The 360 Elite has 2 tuners so its like 2 receivers in 1 which is nice because you can watch 2 live programs at once with picture in picture or PIP.I use this option allot for viewing sports events.The Elite needs 2 lnb feeds from your dish to work right but will work with loop through connection for recording a movie and watching a different program at the same time.This is just my opinion but I would wait till I knew what was going to happen with N3 before I bought another receiver and if I did I would look at buying a IKS receiver.

Yeah i would have to agree with Ekim on that one. Buying a new receiver right now might not be the best idea until we see what's going to happen with Nagra 3. Once all the channels are moved to Nagra 3 i would wait and see who is going to have the fastest and most reliable fix and i would go with that brand. It might not necessary even be a Sonicview, most likely it wont be SV that cracks N3 first but only time will tell.
