It will say updating on the sv 4000 when loading fixes.If that is not what you are doing then try a hard boot with rear switch.Please tell us more.

Does it say Updating or Please Wait For Update? Like Ekim said hard boot OFF and ON via rear switch should fix your problem.

The latest fix for the sv 4000 is working great.If the hard boot did not work.Do a factory default and load factory file and the latest fix.Setup your dish settings and rescan.

Did you try a hard boot? Some channels will show that message such as NHL channels but if you just go one channel up or down and then back to that channel again it will work.
