Default Look at this

bobon911 lets try this, I am hoping you can get into ip config. in your menu and if so I want you to do the test below, also I want you to check this also make sure you ihub is connected good in the back of your receiver and also go into System Settings/User Options and change priority to IHUBS, sometimes it might be on both and allow you to change it, look at that and see what it says because sometimes when you install the program it might have set it different. I have put two fixes down at the bottom, I want you to load them one after the other make sure to boot receiver after each one, leave ihub unhooked until you have loaded the last one then follow notes I put under it with when to plug ihub in. Load the first ihub release because all the others after that are just updates. Try this and lets see what happens. I also put some info below to check out and see if your were connecting.
Here is a way to check if your SV ihub is connected to the server
Here is a quick way to check if your SV ihub is connected to the server. Try this:

**Do it from your TV. Press Menu on the remote Go to ip config, change "Use DNS" from "Yes" to "No". If you see an IP address where the www . svftaiks . com once was then you are connected to the server. If you see 0.0.0.0 server is down and you are not connected.**

If your inital set up (configuration) is wrong then that could also be a reason you are not connected to the server. But if you configuration is right the above test will work to tell you if the server is up or down. I have tested this and it works.

Put this file on next june 30th update file
http://www.ftaprofessionals.tv/sonic...30-2009-a.html

have ihub unhooked and after you put this last file on, cut receiver off from back and then plug in hub and then cut receiver back on, put receiver on channel 100 and let receiver set there for a few minutes, see if it pops up said ihub connected and take note of anything else you notice. Let us know

bobon911 I'm not giving up either, this has got my mind just blown. You are not the only member to have lost this ip config and I tell you what we have went over and over some of this stuff and it is unreal at how much a pain in the you know what all this is becoming. I do have another ideal, worth a shot to see what happens, I will post info below and you read and see what you think, if we can get the computer to pull up ip config for us then we will go that route. Now this is what they call the v82 problem, but also lost ip config is main sign with this after loading latest ihub update if I am understanding it right and this is what brought the receiver back below, see what you think and get back with me.

You CANNOT flash a virgin Ihub!
If you do then you will get the dreaded v82 issue that is more time consuming than doing it right the first time.

To flash a virgin Ihub:
You need to connect the Ihub to the reciever
go into IP Config screen
Change Static to DHCP and then press ok on apply
You will now have a DHCP address in the correct range

The default static IP on the Ihub is 192.168.11.X
The 11 is out of most peoples ranges and when you try to flash it
You will corrupt your Ihub

If you have alread corrupted your Ihub
meaning when you turn it on and it doesn't recognize it (no Ip config under installation)
Then you need to fix it using this:

Open up the Wiznet flash config tool
note your Ihub's information

local ip: 192.168.11.2
Gateway: 192.168.11.1

these values will only work with a network that are 192.168.11.X
Since these values don't match my network I changed it to settings that match my network

Local Ip: 192.168.1.102
Gateway: 192.168.1.1

If you don't know your range or gateway then hit the start menu on the bottom of windows
find the run tab
type in cmd.exe
a black DOS window will open
now type in ipconfig
use the information in the window to change the value in your Ihub
after you are done then left click on the setting button on the bottom of the Wiznet config tool
It will tell you processing and then you can research and see that indeed the IP address has been changed

Note the Version is still at 82.0
Now click on the upload tab again on the bottom of the Wiznet config tool window
Locate the file 1.4 and press "open" to upload the file
After the processing stus window you will see "complete uploading"

Now you can do a search and see if the Version of your Ihub is now correct
It should read Version 1.4

note I have found that using the 1.4 instead of the restore file is fine
It gets the job done and it works
