How offten should we be scanning for new channels? How do we know what has been added?

I wouldn't scan if you don't have any problems. By scanning your sat's again you will get duplicate channels and in order to get rid of them you need to do factory reset and rescan. I would just leave it as is unless you are missing a lot of channels.

well we will post the new updates as they come out,,,but if you need to update then go into menu then into internet then SW upgrade and if theres an update you can load this way also,or if new channels come out we will post a new fix also...you shouldnt have to scan too often, and if you keep rescanning that uasaully causes Duplicate channles
