can i use a serial port to ethernet wire or do i have to buy the ihub
can i use a serial port to ethernet wire or do i have to buy the ihub there is cables on the market that are very cheap does anyone know if this is possible

ihub is the only way to get tv on SV right now, nothing else will work. Unless you are going true fta or Telefonica route.
