Default Buyer Beware

I have had SV receiver now for close to three months now. There is constant sever problems that our well documented on other threads as well. Freezing, sever down. I would not reccomend any body buy any SV recievers nothing but a headache.
Nova from Nufusion was put back on line buy hackers as Nufusion won,t support the Nova no more and it did not effect there sever with all Nova boxs going back online. They our working flawless along with other Nufusion recievers.
Stay away from SV fed up with there bullshit and lies.

Yes nF is working the best with IKS.I will say that SV will get the bugs worked out and be at the top right along nF.nF has been using IKS alot longer then everybody else just staring IKS but nF had there problems at first and still not 100% perfect.SV had the best standalone fix before N3 so I got faith they will figure this out.Time will tell.

Default Just my 2 cents :)

max67 it is true that nfusion is running/working better than sonicview at this time. But one must understand that if they want a flawless fix the only way is to subscribe/pay for it. That is why this is called a hobby/testing. When you get something for free it is not flawless, as the way of life is not that simple. Some may say its not free, I had to buy a receiver or pay to join a web-site, but bottom line is, for what you have watched in the past and up until now has paid for that receiver and even that web-site that one may have joined, as to subscribe for tv would have cost about 50 or 60 a month if not more. So you have to take the bad with the good in this hobby and not get upset with the problems that may go on with downtime, freezing, etc., as it is always going to be a part of this hobby. We have a few different brand name receivers out there running iks and they as well have there issues with server problems, like kbox, cnx, slinger, sonicview and yes even nfusion, etc.
Sonicview is a good receiver and will get there server problems worked out and I have always been one that said if you have the money and want to really test this hobby, get more than one brand name receiver, that way if one is having problems then you have a back up In the standalone fix days, I would of went with sonicview and viewsat, in the iks days I would look at sonicview and nfusion. If standalone makes its way back then you have a sonicview for standalone fixes and a iks receiver nfusion for downtime. Just my 2 cents

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right.Love the ones who do not, just because you can.Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it.Kiss slowly.Forgive quickly.God never said life would be easy.He just promised it would be worth it.

You do not have to be crazy to be my friend, but it sure helps.................

Default RE Buyer Beware

I understand what you our saying regarding that this is a hobbie . I do want to thank all the people on this site for there help when needed and all coders for all there work so we can watch tv but
A moderator put out a thread on behalf of SV saying that there problems were getting resovled and thanking everbody for there on going support awhile back.
That is not the case, 3 months on for me and everbody else on this train.Look at last 10 to 15 posts everbody in SV camp in same boat asking same questions over and over server up down and so on about freezing, screen black ,sound no picture.
So i am just telling people that want to buy a new box and looking for the best bang for there buck at this time SV has ongoing problems and there money is better spent else where. I hope i did not offend anybody just tell it like it is.

@ max67 no you didn't offend anybody and you are entitled to share your opinion with others. We don't flame any coders on our site, if it wasn't for them this hobby wouldn't be possible. And yes you are right SV is having issues with ihub but don't forget the last stand alone fix for SV before the N3switch. While all other brands were going down including NFusion at least once a week or every couple of days SV was going strong for months. The freezing is only temporary and it will be fixed.
