I have lost the only channel I had on my sonicview 1000 today. Everything was working fine on the receiver until I tried to connect another sv1000 receiver that was not working. When I reconnected the working sv1000 it wasn't working anymore.
I did a factory reset using the remote control, loaded the last bin file that is available and when I enter echostar 7 into my dish settings I get echostar 8/10 in the top right corner of the screen. I am certain all my settings are correct. I tried to download the echostar 7 satellite channels and it appears to be scanning but no channels are found at all and at the end it states failed. I downloaded the full channel template file but it appears the file is empty when I unzip it and it does not appear in the downloader. I hooked up the echostar 7 satellite dish line direct to my receiver and still nothing working as it should. What am i doing wrong? Help

if ur set on echo7 and ur seeing 8/10 in the box that means ur dish moved or you blew and lnb or a switch if you have one hooked up or ur ports need to be set

I have the port set correctly on the receiver. I have excellent signal and quality. I will have to check the lnb tomorrow but wouldn't the signal and quality be suffering if the lnb were bad? Thank you for your input.

try this on ur sat 7 change ur LO Frequency to 12239 and then you should get S and Q
