Default receiver dead ?

maybe it is not your stb.sonicview sever has been down for awhile.that would show a blank screen. if you have a receiver outage, first try the reset switch on the back of the box. if it is dead as no activity then we can try to reset the box by holding the power button on the front .here is the instructions>>>http://www.ftaprofessionals.tv/sonic...ub-manual.html

I would try hard boot first, ihub is working fine right now and even when server is down you would still get channel 100 and be able to see your guide and scrambled channels it wouldn't be completely black.

Default video switch

did you check your video selection switch. do you have a tv / dvd selection on your remote. check all devices that allow you to change from tv to video and dvd vcr.hope you have luck in finding your problem.also check the cable lines.

you might have a bad rca video jack take the one off ur dvd or if you have another one just try it and gl

are you running any switches? how about just try a straight line from lnb to stb,,,but even if you had a bad cable from dish you should still get a picture of some sort iwould think...

If it was a switch or bad cable from the dish he would have No Signal message on his screen so it has to be his video&audio cables.
