Did you try to rebooting your receiver from the back?Then try your remote again.

Yes, that was the first thing I did.

Make sure you press STB button on your remote, it's possible you changed it by accident. If that doesn't work try this


Press the TV and the RED RECORD BUTTON buttons simultaneously for five seconds.

LED blinks 3 times on and off in the following sequence TV-> VCR -> DVD-> STB

This will reset your remote.

FYI: what did work was...off on the back then on and menu on the receiver front. Looks like it was a problem with the receiver not the RCU.
