Fortunately I wasn't on the roof, my dish is on a fence post in the yard, but I was in the rain and cold (midwest).
I CAN FINALLY SAY THAT I AM WATCHING MY SV8000. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR HELP. I wish I knew what I did but I don't, all I know is I read everything, did everything and finally decided that I should just start all over. I did a sysclean and then started from rom 101 and added all updates to the present. I was in and out of wiznet and finally someone said NOT TO DO THAT, so I stopped using wiznet and just updated the ipconfig online. I do know that part of my problem was that last Saturday I installed a new LNB which wasn't the best thing to do when trying to update the ihub. I think maybe that had something to do with my scans disappearing (or the quality disappearing) and I do believe the dish moved as we had a really windy day last Sunday.
As I said, I did a sysclean and reloaded everything inclding the latest bin file today, did another scan, saved my channels and it worked. I just wanted to thank everyone for helping me before I crash for the night. I'm too tired to enjoy the fruits of my labor. You guys are great.
