Default Help

I just purchased a Sonicview SV360 premier and iHub
I've loaded the latest bins for both the receiver and iHub, also I input the serial number but I get an "err" message read out. and nothing works.
I'm thinking of a factory reset in case I have a comtaminated file, and starting from scratch, but for some reason I can't download the firmware from Sonicview support (no problem with the other bins). The lights are on in the hub.
Is this a reasonable idea? also I need the factory firm ware and the code to
access the factory reset

Default Thanks for the tips

I going to try your suggestions now, I've had a FTA receiver for a few years
(last one was a SV4000) so I'm OK with loading bins, but I'm not that technical so I have my problems. I'll let you know Thanks again

Default still no joy

I did the cleanup, loaded new bins for both the receiver and the iHub,
tried the hard boot, with no success.

After a reboot it still comes on with a "err" readout, also in user options
if I leave the setting type on DHCP, the only setting I can change is the
serial number.
If I change the setting type to static, I can change some of the settings
noted in the iHub manual but not all. I can still change the serial number
but it disappears afer a hard boot in either case. Even though I click apply.
The lights are on in the Hub, and I know the dish is working fine as I have
a BEV system to try it on.
Can you think of anything else? sure appreciate your help so far.
Ted

It may be needed to reset your providers router to pickup the IP change for the ihub .

heres the way to make that happen

if your down try this

make sure DNS is on YES

remove Ihub from sv
and from cat5 cable
power off sv
wait 5 secs
power on sv
make sure you have pic on 100
put dongle in
wait for Ihub INI screen
than go to 200

this should allow the ip change to be updated
