I have had my SV HD8000 "working" for several days now (many thanks to Ekim and that program we used through teamviewer.com).

Before I bought my receiver, a few people were posting some very good reports about it AND the ihub. However, my setup (with the ihub and 1.5 speed DSL) has had WAY too many spells of total blackouts for as long as a few seconds to several hours (even though the lights on the ihub seem to be functioning normally).

Today (again) it has been blacking out constantly every minute or so for inconsistant lengths of time.

My DSL speed (I test it very often) has remained consistent through these periods and my DSL supplier has recently (just last week) verified it as working great!

So why all the blackouts then?

My guess is that the people that own the IKS server and website have not purchased enough bandwidth or server size (or both) to handle the current demand.

Does anyone have any accurate info as to what is going on with this seemingly endless supply of blackouts?

Sv seems to be better now but earlier today cnls were going in and out bad.I have T3 dsl and and at times when my receiver receives a update and you refresh a web page my receiver freezes but not all the time.They all do it and its just not sv.

Mine's working better now which...it normally will...eventually.

It usually seems to be a matter of patience till it gets there...trouble is...it can be many hours or a day or so before it does!

Yes the SV I-hub seems to be working again!

You have to keep in mind that a lot of other big players such as NFusion and KBox are down and more and more people are hooking up their SV's which is causing servers overload.
