Default getting nothing

Did a rescan have 841 ch was getting 24 of them only. Lost everything after 2 hrs. Have great signal, ihub settings good, each time it went out rebooted & came back for a few minutes but now get only advertisements & infomercials......what should i try next? newbee

sorry its a sv8000hd been working (limited chnls) 2 weeks. I do get "network adapter connect" message on tv screen after reboot/ stong signal on bar on bottom but "no signal" or "channel is locked/ ihub blinking/ I cant tell you exacxtly what files & dont know how to find. Under menu & misc. is boot loader 02.07

Could you send me the exact files I should have & start over?

You have the right file loaded in receiver.The "No Signal" is a dish problem to receiver not a receiver to tv connection problem most likely.What is the dish type?The "channel is locked"can be turned off in parental control menu.

signal strength is great... parental lock not on plby chnl on when it went down. Just had everything up for 5 min & now gone again. If dish (dn500) was problem why such good signal s-60 q-75-90.

Default things to look at

howdy. ok your system went down and you are back on but nothing. try to reboot your router. if your hub is connected and you have internet try to reboot your receiver. if you lost satellite dish signal look at your dish and then if you are running a switch look at that. good luck.your signal is a little low.look at your hub's numbers and make sure you entered them correctly.in ipconfig make sure the hub's numbers are the same.

Done all these steps last night comes back sometimes in a few minutes sometimes an hr or two. I have to assume the switch at lnb but would i still have solid signal & quality if it were the prob? Hooked the dn 301 rec initially & signal VERY strong on the the meeter / hook up to the sv8000hd 59-68 as good as i can get (quality always good tho) still switch??? newbee69

Do a factory default/reset.Then load factory file.Then the latest fix.You can try loading the fix before the Dec.26 and see if it helps.

Factory file for receiver.

It would be a good idea to get a little better signal, minimum of 80% is recommended.
