Default IHUB rules to consider if you have issues.

You can't use Wiznet to update using powerline or wireless access. The IHUB must have direct ethernet cable connection to the router.

Some routers may not allow you to share direct ethernet connection between two or more IHUBS unless you adjust local ip for each within the router or you cascade more than one router to allow each IHUB to obtain its own local ip.

IHUBS don't actually die they simply goto sleep. Persistance in flashing the rom100 will usually wake it up. It may take a while.

As of this writing.. Flash the receiver update first...then update the IHUB.

Since the output of power for the IHUB is provided by the serial port on the receiver and only after the apropriate flash program for IHUB has been aplied... Its important to remember that

A)Its a bad idea to flash the receiver serially if an IHUB flash is in the receiver or to flash the receiver with an IHUB file via serial cable.
B) Its not a good idea to flash a factory file with the IHUB attached.

The sat cable provides a load to the receiver and may inhibit the receiver from updating. If you can't seem to update the receiver flash normally...unplug the receiver and detach the sat cable... plug in the receiver and try again.

Always detach all cables only after you unplug the receiver. Remember that the receiver turned off via the remote does not turn off the power to the LNB.

DN is frequently changing TP data.. You must do rescans and update your TP list fairly frequently

Keep in mind that flashing can reset some data.. its always a good idea to check your city after updates. If you scan your sats with the wrong city you could get stuck with perma NSOS.
