Red face sonicview 8000 best router to use

I have a sonicview 800hd. With newlink upgraded to v.43. Everything works if I plug ethernet directly behind modem, but if I go through belkin n router I have dns issue. I've tried 4.2.2.2, 8.8.8.8, 0.0.0.0 but nothing seems to work. What can I do or what router works best with this config. I saw the list of known routers to work but do I have to use wiznet to get mac and then enter it into the router and assign it an ip address. Please advise

The v43 is a svlan/wizhub upgrade file loaded buy wiznet. Not for a unconverted newlink. What is the main software in the receiver information.

If you want to convert to svlan/wizhub unplug newlink and load this file>>> http://www.ftafire.com/sonicview-800...05-2011-a.html

Then let receiver reboot. Then power down and reconnect newlink then bootup receiver and wait till you see the network adapter connect message. It will then convert your newlink to svlan/wizhub.Then go with a private server or purchase the "svlan/wizhub immediate upgrade" which is the serial number emailed to you.Enter the s/n in network settings then exit and yes to save.

Did you try setting up your receiver on DHCP instead of Static? Try DHCP mode, turn off receiver then reset your router and modem, wait a few min and turn on your receiver, see if IP config populates.I am using D-Link router and it works great.
