Default Akai Japan - Mr Sonicview - Update DN Servers Changing - Reconnect info

Hello everyone,

Akai Japan has informed me that they made a dns change which may cause some users to disconnect.

Please do not change your settings. If you don't connect automatically you will need to reboot the unit. If that does not work you may have to reset your internet connection also.

The system is up and running so if you are down please follow those steps to get it working again.

Also note that Akai Japan is just about done with their new servers. Once they are ready they will be transfering all DN servers to the new servers and this will stop the freezing on DN.

Remember that BEV is on different servers and running smooth. DN will do the same when the servers are changed. Also I have seen a few people still thinking that BEV is the cause of that and I can assure you that is not the case. Remember this is the Akai Japan Group we are talking about so just because the ihub reject groups couldn't get it done does not mean that Akai Japan will not come through for you once again.

I have not been posting much on the forums lately but know that I am still viewing some threads and voicing what is going on to Akai Japan. I have been pushing them to solve this problem and they assure me it will be done and fast.

As for those who are requesting the HD or internationals that wend down a few weeks ago they will be added after the freezing is resolved. There is no point in adding them until the major problem is solved for everyone.

I and Akai Japan thank you for your patients!

Have a wonderful day!
Mr Sonicview

Cool Connection Fail...

Well I just upgraded my IHUB/Premier SV360 to SVLAN with lots of info from the site and put on the SVLAN p24 bin file, I have SVLAN running(so it appears). I have followed the information from this site and referenced others. I have corrected a lot of bumps with the information on this great site I joined. Dishes lineup AOK, capture lots of S&Q and stations but 2 things still evade me:

I cannot get past Network Setting - Status: Connection Fail...
I cannot get channel 101 nor 200.
I think I am missing something. Server up?
Cheers

Your receiver has to be setup right. It sounds like your dish or dish settings are off.

Tell what type of dish/lnb's and any switch used.
Tell us how you have these settings set in receiver dish settings

lnb type?
lnb freq?
diseqc port setting if switch is used?

What file is in the receiver?
Did you update a hub to svlan?

If you highlite the serial number line and click ok.A keypad will pop up and you can (Del) delete the Y's and enter the purchased wizhub warranty code to enter in that line then highlite (ok) and click ok to save.

Question Cannection Fail...

Well it looks like the wizhub connection code, since I did not purchase one. I found a coolsat link that is selling the wizhub code, is that where I go to purchase it?

The Echostar 10,11 110.0w, port 1, LNB standard, FQ 11250, TP 12224
Echostar 7 119.0w, port 2, LNB standard, FQ 11250, TP 12326
Echostar 5 129.0w, port 4, LNB standard, FQ \11250, TP12516
2 dishes - Dishpro LNBs 2 heads on one and one on the other.
Used a sat finder and an experienced friend to get the viewsat 9000hd working for a while so the dishes are poiinted correctly. Plus all units do lock channels.

I have 2 IHUB/SV360 Premiers (one of which has just been upgraded to SVLAN). Upgrade seems to have gone correctly mostly because of the great info you have left before. I recieved one of the free church channels. These units are my best hope.

I also have 1 Viewsat 9000hd with weather forecaster, 1 viewsat lite(not hooked up) and I cannot get any of them to work correctly at the moment.
Awhile ago I tried to purchase an ILINK 9500hd, and the seller never shipped it, I eventually got my moneyback. Other topics.

Your thoughts?

Yes go to coolsatellite.com to get the 2yr wizhub warranty code.

What type is your lnb's?
What type of diseqc switch?
Your not going to need sat 129 with your 360.

You can either buy wizhub warranty code or hook up your VS 9000 if you have WF, VS has been down for a few days but it's back up with latest files posted yesterday, you can download last file for VS 9000 here - Viewsat 9000HD WF FTA Fix Aug 5.2011

Ok I see you added more info. But you didn't mention using a switch.

You say you got locked cnls. You can have this and still have dish settings wrong.

Try lnb tpye ocs-dp and set 110 on port 2 and 119 on port 1.If you are locked on the same sat showing by the word satellite. It will show the same sat name under the time in the lite blue box top right.

not sure of your setup but it must show lock in the blue box before you scan or you could be scanning wrong sat.
