Are you trying the pc loader?If so try and load factory file several times.It may not work the first time.

Your laptop might not have RS232 Port and you would need serial to USB adapter.Most older PC's have serial port installed.

What type adapter do i need for the null cable.
The cable is female on both sides.
I bought a male adapter 9 pin on both sides but
does not fit.

This is a usb to 9pin adapter.Is something like this what you need?
