My s/w version is 2.45P as I looked at it. I'll check for newer files, but I've decided to order the wizhub as I was convinced by reading things. Once I get this new hub, I'll begin all over again.
Thanbks for being there.

You really have no need to buy more hubs. They are all the same thing but with different firmware.
Simply disconnect the hub from your box and load this file:
Sonicview 360 Premier Svlan_24 FTA Fix July 21.2011

When prompted to "Reboot now" answer "No". Shut the box off at the main switch and reconnect the hub.Restart the box and look for the "Updating" message. This might take a few seconds to appear. When its done, reboot and you should now have an SVlan\Wizhub.It will have provisions to connect to both the Svlan server and other servers as well.

Good luck and happy testing,
Sp0iler

Added: You will still need to purchase a "donation number" from one of the available services to connect and use the box for what you want.
See the IKS discussion forum for a free trial going on.

Checked out this IKS free trial, and have the numbers now for the I-link, but what do I do with them? How do I enter domain name, user name, password, deskey, and port?
I checked the menu and these choices weren't seen by me.
I want to try this, but where in the menu do they belong?

Not a problem....
Just that few here will know much about I link. I know I don't.

Hopefully you'll get the rest of the info you need and be up and viewing shortly.

Good luck,
Sp0iler
