Cant find any info on how to set up a proxy host with my wizhub/sonicview 8000hd on this site. Im using japans PUBLIC server.Ive read on some other sites that use a ssh tunnel ,bitvise Tunnelier ,and black rock you pay something like 5.00 a month to the(SH3LLS) proxy host. They use 128 bit encryption to make your ip address hidden. The problem is all the tutorials ive read deal with using a proxy host with a PRIVATE SERVER, My question is there any info out there about doing what ive tried to describe with japans public server. thanks

We do have black rock posted but it was nothing but a hassle and didn't work, maybe some private proxies work but i am not sure which hopefully somebody that uses one can help you out.

I think i have run into a dead end trying to do this with the public server, however i think i have enough info to do it with a private server. MODERATOR if you can-- please pm with info on where to purchase/donate akai PRIVATE server.I have looked everywhere cant seem to find it . THANKS

There is no akai private server.But there are other private servers.The easiest way for you to block your ip if you want is to set a static ip in pc then use that ip as the gateway in the receiver using its own static ip.Then use a ip hider program.

Any true "Private server" you would never hear about here or any other website.
The AJG "public server" is nothing more than a "paid server" like all the rest.

If you want on that server, go to Coolsatellite on the web for details.
