Instructions for the SvLan/WizHub

1) Load SvLan file for your model onto the STB with the SvLan attached
2) Say yes to reboot. Once the receiver reboots on its own it should say
3) "updating network, do NOT turn off receiver" Let that finish
4) Do a hard reboot when done
5) Go into the ip config and input the password that came with your SvLan
6) Exit and save
7) You are good to go


Alternative method:

1) Factory Default
2) Load the system clean file on for your model
3) For 8000 model put the scanning file on and put your settings in and scan
4) Load SvLan file for your model onto the STB with the SvLan attached
5) Say yes to reboot. Once the receiver reboots on its own it should say
6) "updating network, do NOT turn off receiver" Let that finish
7) Do a hard reboot when done
8) For Premier and Elite put your settings in and scan.
9) Go into the ip config and input the password that came with your SvLan
10) Exit and save
11) You are good to go

Both methods work. The alternative method is more thorough.
The alternative method will get all the old junk out of the STB first.
If you use the alternative method be sure to check the video settings to make sure they
Are not on PAL and all of the other settings are correct as well.

Hello super moderator, can you please help me with this question - I have an IHub converted to SVLAN, using Wiznet it is reading V4.12. Is there an upgrade to make it a Wizhub? is this the latest SVLAN version? let me know please where the new files would be if any... Thank you

You have the right version,SVLan and Wizhub are the same and using the same files.Wizhub is new name for SVLan basically.

Just wondering, are these sv dongels still available?

They will be hard to find now since Coolsatellite got shut down, they were official SV dongles&codes distributor. I did come across a Wizhub few days ago on kijji in Ontario not sure if it's still available,try ebay also.
