Make sure you are trying to connect to the AKAI Japan server. Some modems won't let the receiver connect, you might have to use a router also. Have you tried rebooting everything including the modem? To do that just turn off the receiver from the switch on the back of the receiver,, unplug the router from the power source if you are using one and then unplug the modem from the power. Next plug the modem back in, wait a minute then plug the router back in, wait another minute then turn the receiver back on from the back. Put on channel 200 and don't touch anything for at least 30 minutes, should come on.

I am running on the Akai Japan Server, and I do not have a router. I will try what you said and start over at the beginning with insturctions and see how that goes.

Double check the 16 digit wizhub warranty code entered in network settings.Cnl 100 is not free anymore.

As ekim said you might want to double check your code, make sure you do not use the letter "o" in place of the number zero"0". Also it will only connect when left on a working channel, you might try leaving it on a different cahnnel like 200 or 204.

SUCCESS!!! It's working!! It was the 16 digit code!! I re-typed it and made sure all the numbers and letters were correct and STATUS went from CONNECT FAIL to CONNECT!! FINALLY!!
