Hello ashley,, Looks like you're upgrading from the I-link. You won't regret this once it works for you.
Reading what you said, I'd download the wiznet again. You could have a corrupt download. Now you will have to install this wiznet after you unzip it, (if you didn't know) good luck |

Help!! I can't get wiznet to run! I download wiznet, extract files, then I get an icon that says Install. I click on it and the install wizard installs it, then after the installation I click finish. However the Install icon remains there!! After I had just installed it! So I right click on the Install icon and click Open or run as...the option to Run or Cancel comes up, I click on Run and nothing happens.

What dongle are you using if you have Newlink or Wizhub you don't need Wiznet.

Just follow these instructions, don't make it more complicated than it needs to be....
Re: Latest File for your model of receiver.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the only Bin most will need. For New Install. 1)Extract the latest bin file to your USB stick and write down the Serial Number before beginning, make sure you do not use the letter "o" in place of the number zero "0". 2)Insert the USB stick before turning on the power to your receiver. 3) Load the latest bin file via the USB and reboot when it asks you to, then power off receiver from the rear switch. 4) Plug in the I-hub, Newlink, Svlan or Wizhub adapter to the receiver. 5) Plug the Cat5 cable from adapter to Router and turn on receiver. 6) You may see Updating Image but you will see "Network Adapter Connected" Message 7) Wait for a Process Bar on the top left 8) Once you have an Image 9) Click Menu>Network Settings 10) Set to DHCP 11) Scroll down to SN and delete all the YYYYYY 12) Enter SN 13) Exit and save 14) Menu Dish Settings and set up your sats 15) Scan only when you have proper Sat Lock. 16) Click on CH 101, you must have a picture, if not, re-check your Dish Settings and S and Q signals 17) you have picture on Ch 101, Click on CH 200 or CH 300 and wait for Picture. If no Picture please start your own thread and ask for assistance posting what you have done and what you are having problems with.

Ashley, if indeed it's the "I-hub" you are working with, you will need the wiznet. After installation, go to your C drive and find where wiznet is installed. Go into it until you find the wiznet program. Right click on it and creat a shortcut. Drag the shortcut to your desktop.
Try double clicking on this icon. |

thanks for all the responses I really appreciate all the help. Can maybe someone tell me if I have an I-hub or wizhub? When I placed the order with the retailer I ordered a wizhub. When I received the package it did not say on the little white box what it is. To me, it doesn't look like the wizhubs I saw on the retailers site. The "I-hub" or "wizhub" (which ever it is) is black and has no writing on it anywhere, except MADE IN KOREA. No numbers or letters. However, the company sent me a 16 digit serial number to my e-mail. I think it's a wizhub, but not sure.

It may still be wise to have the wiznet, in case you have to update the hub some day in the future, but don't worry about it now. |

Thanks again for the help...I followed the instructions that eloans1 gave me and everything was going good, I extracted the latest file (sep.4/11) on the USB did all that. There was a Network Adapter Connected message. I continued on, went in Network Settings, changed to DCHP and changed the YYYYYYY to my serial number, I am on the Akai Japan server however below that at STATUS it keeps saying connect fail. Do I need a main bin before I put the latest fix in? Also, in the steps, after the message NETWORK ADAPTER CONNECTED appears, there's supposed to be a process bar in the top left corner, and an image is supposed to appear, neither of that happens. Therefore I went on to Network Settings and did the rest.m Scanned sats. I do not have a channel 101, however I do have 100 (Dish Home), so I went there and no picture
