I recently started helping a friend find a working dish for his own rig. It is a dish500 with dp plus lnb's. So I put the lnb's on my dish arm, because it was already aimed and working. I got one eye to work, and didn't see the option of dp plus on my elite at first. So I went out to switch wires and see if that was the problem and forgot to turn off power to the lnb's. Now I cannot get enough signal to do anything. Did I pop my reciever? I tried the other tuner, but no luck.

If you're using a Diseqc switch, you may have blown that.
I don't use the DP lnb's, cause I heard there's extra setup requirements for them. Why not just use the older DN lnb's? They work great just as they are with these boxes.

I got everything back. I had 119 and 110 reversed , and in the process of switching things I got my pole mount orientation all out of whack. I also down loaded a very helpfull pdf. with routing diagrams for various dn lnb's from this site. This site is great , thanks again.
