I just took this stb out of the box to get it up and running after a few years. I notice that 129 in the latest bin I installed the other day still leaves me with the old 129 echo 5 bird.Is there a file needed to bring my sat choices up to date?I plan to use this stb with a wizhub.

129 is a HD bird, if you scanned it with your Sd box you only get maybe 5 or 6 chs which are not exactly preferred viewing. Waste of time with SD box.

I have a 360 elite with HD board. I do not see Ciel2 on my list just 129 as old echo 5 bird.My list of choices seem outdated. Thanks

No you don't have 360 elite with hd board.You may have a sv8000 with hd board.If you have a 360 elite it doesn't have a hd board so forget about 129.

This was sold years back as a 360 Elite with HD. The dealer seems to have played a game then with second tuner being the HD board.It also was sold when the 360HD was confusing the issue of models even more.So no SD at all then on 129?Thanks

I know the elite is a dual tuner, but in all my years of testing I never saw it sold as a sd and hd box. Someone was apparently yanking your chain so to speak. And to answer your lasr question like I said in my earler post 129 is a Hd sat. There may be 5 or 6 sd chs but not worth trying to scan. Hope this helps.

There was talk from Sonicview years back about a 360 HD differing from the 360 elite.I dont think it ever was actually released though.Thanks again.

Interesting point is that I cannot find this bird even with 9000HD and HD board. I am using a 1000.2 with 110 and 119 working fine even on the HD channels

So obviously my main issue is the antenna not the stb
