The TopSat TS5000 Iks is easy to setup here are a few instructions on how to set it up for the first time:

1. Download latest file can be found here >>> Topsat FTA Bins - FTA Files Free to Air Satellite TV Community Forums

Download file unzip it with WinRar or WinZip or whatever you use to unzip files , put the file on your desktop or a folder or someplace you will know where it is then load the file onto your USB Stick.

2. Connect Stb to TV turn on TV and Stb

3. Click on Menu then on the Left scroll to Data Reset click it to open then do a Factory Reset/Factory Settings/Factory Default , Let the stb Reboot

4. Now the Default Video for this STB is set to Component Video so everything in the menu will be Black in Color we want to change it before we go any further , Menu/on the left scroll till you see Gear then hit right arrow on the remote then scroll to TV Output/click to open it/TV Settings click to open then select Audio Output Stereo L/R or whatever Audio setting you are using/ scroll down to Video Output select the Video out you are using in my case I selected S-Video everything will turn to color now exit out of there.

5. Load Latest File , Insert Usb Stick with File on it you will get a pop up with the file in it just click ok to load the file , If you don't get the Pop Up with the file then do this . Menu scroll to the Gear S/W Transfer click OK then sellect Software to STB then just click OK you will get a pop up saying Wait file will Load then it should say Good after file has loaded or Fail if it didn't Load once file is loaded /select Back/Exit on the Remote.

6. Antenna setup / on the left scroll till you see Antenna setup click on it to open it now you will see

Satellie click ok select the Sat you want

Lnb Frequency /set this to legacy lnbs 11250/Dish Pro LNBS OCS-DP

Diseqc / seti it to your diseqc switch settings you are using instead of port it will be like this example 119/LNB1 or whatever you have yours set at/if you are using a mini diseqc switch you will have to use those settings instead of LNB settings

22 KHz/ off unless you are using a Multi switch with a 22KHz side then select on for the Sat it is set to, Example Zimwell 4x4 Multi Switch 110 22Khz off 119 22KHz on or which ever way you have your Sats configured to the Switch

Lnb Power Option/leave it set to Auto

LNB Power Option/Set It to 13/18Volt

TP Frequency/12224 for 82/91/110 / 12239 for 119

Antenna Positioning/OFF

Once you have setup your Antenna Settings click the RED Button On the Remote and Scan for Channels once STB has scanned for channel select Save and exit
Do This for each Sat you have

7. Scroll to TV on Left then scroll over and Select Network Settings on it , now you should have Mode DCHP at the top then your IP settings if they aren't there already scroll to the bottom then Click Apply exit your Network Settings and exit.

8. Set Your Usual Setting Like Time/OSD Settings the usual once done alll that exit out of the Menu you should Have a picture Watch TV enjoy.

It Might look Complicated to some bit it is Easy I Had mine out of the Box Connected Setup and was watching TV in Less then 10 Minutes ,If you have any Problems setting it up just ask and someone will help you.
