Hello, this is Bill here. the guy I bought my dish off of, keeps comming over to fix my dish when it's down. he has now downloaded the extream loader2.exe from this site to my computer, then unziped it. then he transfered a opkey from his labtop to my computer,then unziped it, he walked me though the steps to install the new fix.
now I have downloaded the new fix from yuor site, unziped it and now when I run loader2.exe like he showed me. when I open my loader2.exe click open files, then click opkey, then click pc to stb. nothing happens, just keep saying resending. I have tried to clear it all and instead of clicking opkey, I click the new fix, still nothing happens.. can anyone please, please tell me why.???? thank you...

billjer, when you open loader2 click on tool, then click on configation and check to see if com port is right.

Yes the first thing to do is set your comm port then load the latest fix and make sure the download is complete and the receiver reboots.

Also you are not loading the opkey file as that is only to update keys, what you need is PGM file.

If you like you can open a new post and give us a little more detail such as which receiver you are using we should be able to help you out.
