Default No Signal On Viewsat Ultra for D***

I'm currently not getting any signal on D***, S and Q are 0. It was working fine this morning then all of a sudden it just went. When I switch over to B** (eventhough there's nothing on due to NAG3, the signal's showing full strength). I've moved the cables in the back of my receiver and the signal on S goes up to about 30% but 0% on Q. I was thinking about just moving the cable to my switch that I'm using for B** since that signal's seems to be working, could that be the issue? Any suggestions would be helpful. I wasn't the one who installed this, rather do it myself instead of having to call the guy during the holidays! If you need any other information please let me know.

Sounds like your dish moved or the switch went bad. If you did not move your dish you can try to by pass the switch and connect the cable directly from the LNB to the receiver. That way you can tell if it is the switch. Are you sure that your dish settings are setup correctly?

Is it possible that you have snow on your dish which would prevent you from receiving the signal or did you recently have bad storm that maybe moved your dish. If it wasn't the weather that affected you most likely your Disq Switch is fried or you have a lose connection from your LNB's to your switch.

Yeah there was a crap load of wind the past few days, but it's pretty damn secured and it's been through worse over the summer but I'll check. I'll also check the switch to see what's going on. The settings on the receiver are correct. Thanks for the advice I'll let you know how things go. Merry xmas everyone!
