Hi I need help with uploading my FTA files. They usually work through USB but for some reason now when I plug my usb into the reciever and go to menu/system information/reciever upgrade/USB and press OK the screen just flashes and doesnt let me upgrade it. I bought a new USB but it still doesnt work. Help please, by the way im using a viesat Ultra

Did you format your usb drive first.If yes did you make sure that the file is in your usb stick?

The file is definetely in, what do you mean by formatting the USB?

Well I tried formatting both my USB's but when I plug them into my reciever its like it doesnt even notice, it doesnt even say "port initializing" or anything and the screen still just flashes when I press reciever upgrade/USB

Try a hard boot then plug it in again.

Didnt change anything. USB lights up but reciever still ignoring it.

Turn rear power off and put usb stick in usb port and then turn power back on.

You extracted the file into usb stick right.Do you see anything in the receiver upgrade box on your screen?
