Default Cant record with a ViewsatPro

I can't get my VS/Pro to record. I've plugged a new 8g USB stick in the rear port and formatted it with the VS/Pro. I have tried recording with EPG and with timer and nothing happens. I've tried instant recording and I get a message telling me there is no recordable hard drive present. What am I doing wrong here folks ???

Yes the USB stick has been formatted in FAT 32 using Windows Vista.

Try to scan the USB, if that did not help than turn off your receiver using the power switch in the back for few minutes than plug in the USB stick and turn it back on.

It could be a problem with a USB stick.

I bought another 8g stick and took it out of the packaging and plugged it into the receiver and ran format. Same results.

Next thing I would try is to reset the receiver by doing factory reset than loading the factory file than the fix file, setup the dish settings and rescan.

Good luck.
