I have a Veiwsat Ultra and I want to scan my 119 sat. How do I lock the TP Freq. Everytime I sat the TP Freq on 119 it defaults back.

If I remeber rite as long as you put it on 12239 and do ur scan,,, it mite still say 12224 but it realy isnt

What is a ur scan? When I sat the TP Freq on 12239 exit out then go back to that satellite it default back to 12225. What am I doing wrong? when I scan my satellites 110 and 119 both of them will show 50% done and no channels are found. The quality is showing 96% or better but I am not picking up channels. I also have a strong sign.

Some receivers tp needs to be changed to 12239 on 119 to show quality and your locked on 119.When your receiver does its scans it will scan all tp's starting at lowest tp freq and 119 has lower tp freq than 12239.Not all tp's for 119 will not show quality.

I am scanning satellite 119 and the process is at 69% put no channels are found. I did a reset and reload factory bin and reset up all satellites . Still no channels are found. What can I do?
How do I get all my Satellite back the only ones showing is 110 and 119? If I go into menu, installation then antenna there are only two satellites showing 119 and 110. How do I get the rest of them back. Please send me instructions on it how to reinstall my lost satelliltes.
Do you have a dish channel list that I can load on my USB drive and install on my Veiwsat Ultra.

Do a factory default first then load the sat file below which will put sat and tp's back in your receiver then load latest fix then setup dish settings and rescan.Make sure when you scan 119 set tp at 12239 and 110 tp to 12224.

Do you have a channels list for Veiwsat Ultra that I can load with my USB drive.

I scan my channels and for sat 110 all I got was 179 channels and sat 119 was a 120 channels. What can I do to get the rest of my channels. I am missing lots of PPV and lots of movies channels.

dridgell have you ever loaded from your computer using the loader or have you been only using usb stick? I do not like channel list very much, they can be a pain in the _ _ _. The file ekim posted was a sat list download which will give you a list of all sat/birds in the sky. I would first cut off your receiver with switch in back and leave off for about a count of up to 30 and then switch it back on, that is a hard boot, then go into your menu and take a look at your S & Q for both birds, you want as high as you can get, the Q is very important and if it is to low it will cause a problem bring in all your tp's which is what gives you your channels. 80 or above is nice to see on both 110 and 119. Let us know the readings on those first so we will know which way to go

I never loaded from my computer I always used the usb stick. My 110 reads S=56 and Q=92. My 119 read S=39 and Q=23. When I do a vertical blind scan with my Pansat 2500a. I get all the channels and no doubles. At one time when I did a auto scan with my Viewsat Ultra I got all the channels with no double. When I started losing channels recently with my Viewsat and I started to re-scan is when my problems started and I was unable to pick up all my channels any more. I try to lock TP Freq on 12239 for sat 119 but it keep defaulting back. What do I need to do?

It will always default back but thats not a problem.When you setup your dish outside you may have to change your tp freq to 12239 on 119 to show you got 119 sat.After that when you scan 119 the receiver is going to scan all tp's listed for 119 not just 12239 but all tp's and not all tp's have cnls.
