I was wondering if anyone could help me out I am new to FTA and have read countless threads. I am sure if I were back in the states I would have this thing down. I am in Iraq and dieing to watch some english channels. I have done a blind scan and picked up a few satellites but the english channels show a $ sign by them. I have downloaded and installed on the Satview Ultra 2000 the May 1 fix but it has not changed anything I did the reboot and a hard restart with no success. Are there different keys for the satellites over here if so can someone help me out. Thanks

That file should unlock all the channels for you, is your auto roll on?
How to set Auto Roll "ON"
Main Menu> User Settings> System Settings> and Set “Auto Roll to ALL”

Which satellite are you trying to pick up and what is the signal strength?

No the keys are the same.

AMC 3 is the sat I am trying to get my signal strength is 76

There is only few channels available on AMC 3, is there any way that you can get EchoStar 7?

where I am at I got a great lock on a NileSAT 7W satelitte. It has a lot of good channels ESPN, FOX news, ESPN Classic, but it still show the $. I have the may fix installed, I have auto roll on and great signal. I just can't seem to figure this thing out any other ideas?

What is your Q, that means more than S and here are the latest keys to see if you match.

My signal strength is 78 and my quality is 40. Which keys are those for I see three different places in which to put keys? Thank you guys for all the help

Those keys are for DN 00 01 00 and 01 01 00.Your quality is to low it needs to be 80% or better.Fine tune your dish.

Try scanning the 11996 H tp 15 you may be able to get Showtime

Here is the link with all the available channels on Nilesat 102 at 7.0°W: lyngsat.com/nile102.html but I don't think that the fix file will unlock the channels. The files posted are only good for dish channels.

There is some good free to air channels but I don't know if you can get the signal from Iraq.

If you could get Satellite 123.0 W that would be the best choice.
