I got this info. from some feedback on the subject and reporting seccessfully conecting the weather forecaster to dial up internet service here is what was done.

Well it took a while but I did get the cross over cable ...changed my dial up properties to share and plugged it in and WORKED !!...Dial up DOES WORK with WF..no frezzing ..perfect picture.

Where can you get a cross over cable or do you have to make it ?

It is a cat5 ethernet cross over cable you can get at wallmart,ratshak,bestbuy,PC retalers,ect.

It gos from your pc to the wf an then change the dial up properties to share. phone line goes in the back of your pc.

Well i have read about issues with hooking up the weather forecaster useing dial up isp.I have not read any solid successful dial-up hook up stories til i read about this one here.So knowing we could use this info here i added it. I can not verify this as i do have the cross over cat 5 but i don't have dial up service LOL.So if you are trying to hook your weather forecaster useing dial up give it a try.
