Default Viewsat MAXHD - Add-On Module SK200

VS MAXHD Add-On Module SK200

C/P FROM Cyphris

That’s right it is now available. They had finished production and final testing sooner then expected. The test results for stability far exceeded initial expectations and the Add-on Module was sent into production over the weekend. There is a limited shipment of 3000 modules on the first run.

Attached are images of the SK200 Add-on Module for the VS MAX HD. You will need to remove the current tuner module of the VS MAX HD pictured in image VS_MAXHD_Module_04.jpg. When removing the Tuner module be careful not to bend the 4 pins in the corner. These are guide pins used to help guide the Add-on Module into place. You can see these in image VS_MAXHD_Module_05.jpg

After you installed the Add-on Module go to Menu > System Information > Receiver Information. You should see the Optional Tuner Found. You can now scan your satellites to pick up Turbo 8psk channels.

Warning: when installing and pressing down on the Add-on Module. Do it gently and do not force it. it should snap into place rather easy. Always make sure you are grounded while doing this procedure to insure you are static free.
