The rebooting is caused by a condition I named, "Shaken Box Syndrome" and was prominent last October, but hasn't been seen much as of late.

The fix is reported to be:

1. Unplug ViewSat from power supply (wall socket)
2. Open ViewSat
3. Gentle tighten the circuit board screws; they need to be firm, but not overly tight
4. Unplug and replug the electrical cables inside.
5. Close ViewSat
6. Plug in and see if it's fixed.

Just exercise caution and be gentle; don't force.

Also, it was posted last Fall that ViewSatUSA OK'ed this procedure as not voiding the warranty "can't confirm/deny"

New Samsung Tuner

Other then the tuner the hardware is pretty much all the same with some minor cosmetic changes to the exterior as you can verify this on the viewsatusa.com website.
The old models will still be in circulation till all dealers have disposed of them.

All new 3rd party software from 11-08-07 on ward is compatible with the VS Ultra V2

If you do get or have this version then please Load the latest file and do not load anything prior to 11-08-07 as it can cause issues.
