How to Record a Movie on a Viewsat Ultra Lite
The Viewsat Ultra Lite is an FTA satellite receiver. This means it receives free-to-air broadcasts through the connected satellite dish. Although the receiver does not have a built in DVR (digital video recorded), it is possible to connect a recording device to the Viewsat receiver. Once connected, you are able to record any programming you want to view at a later date.
1 -Plug the RCA audio/video cables into the "Video Out" ports on the rear of the Ultra Lite satellite receiver. Plug the other ends into the "Video In" ports on the VCR.
2 - Connect the second set of RCA audio/video cables into the "Video Out" ports on the VCR. Insert the opposite ends of the cables into the "Video In" ports on the television.
3 - Power on the Viewsat Ultra Lite receiver, the TV and the VCR. Set the channel to the program you want to record, then insert he VHS tape into the VCR.
4 - Press "Play" and "Record" at the same time and the Viewsat Ultra Lite programming records directly onto the VHS tape.
